The Student Veterans’ Association of New Mexico State University
(SVA of NMSU) is committed to helping our brothers and sisters of our
armed forces transition from military green successfully to NMSU Crimson
and beyond. Whether you are the military veteran, spouse, dependent or
supporter of our brave service members, we pride ourselves in providing
a support network that can help navigate the academic life of NMSU,
veteran programs, or being a member of our community.
The SVA of NMSU will make every effort to help your academic career
be a successful one but will also be here to listen; not only to your
needs and ideas on how to make it better but also for support. If we do
not know an answer we will make every effort to find the correct
direction for you to find that answer.
Our motto is “Nunquam Unus”, latin for never alone. These simple
words ring true for our mission that no veteran will ever be alone and
that we will strive to take care of our own and all that support us.
